Tim is 30!!!!!!!!!

Well the big day has finally arrived and Tim has reached the milestone birthday of 30 – judging from the stories I have heard this is a major acheivement.

The birthday celebrations started last night with a trip out for an Indian meal with friends Beverly and Simon (they can’t make the party on Saturday).

Unfortunately for Tim he had to go to work today but he didn’t stay there too long and is now getting ready to cheer on England whilst consuming some beers and eating pizzas.

The celebrations are planned to last until the early hours of Sunday morning with the Football Themed party kicking off at 3pm.

Down On Stockley Farm

After the excitement of the Easter Egg hunt had worn off the 3pk, PKP, Uncle Michael and Auntie Alison made their way to Stockley Farm to see the animals.

The trip to the farm started with a ride on the tractor from the entrance gate to the actual farm which was a little bumpy to say the least but the 3pk seemed to enjoy themselves.

Once off the tractor we made our way around the farm looking at all the animals. Once again the 3pk each had their own favourite animal:
PK3 – Planes (Don’t ask)
PK2 – Guinea Pigs
PK1 – Pigs

PKM particulalry enjoyed looking at the lambs and kids in the sheds and loved the names that had been given to them, PKP and PK1 were also impressed with the kids that were named after Star Wars characters (it would have been more impressive though if they had been named Airwolf, Santini and Stringfellow – but you can’t have everything!!!!)

After we had some light refreshments we made our way to the feeding shed to give the lambs and kids some milk – 3pk loved feeding the lambs and even Uncle Michael and Auntie Alison had a go.

After the feeding we made our way to the play area where the 3pk played on the swings and slides and PKM even had a go on the aerial slide thing. However I think the highlight of the day for the 3pk was the ride they had on the Piggy Roller Coaster!!!!!

Once the playing was over we watched the Bird display and PK! even had a snowy owl land on his gauntletted hand – whihc he wasn’t to sure about.

Finally we made our way back to the car park on the tractor and said our good byes to Uncle Michael and Auntie Alison who were making the journey back to their home down south.

Apparently It Is Easter Today…

The Easter Egg hunt has just finished and resulted in the discovery of 30 chocolate eggs and a Charlie & The Chocolate Factory DVD.

There was lot of excitement when PK2 & PK3 discovered some chocolate eggs in the cereal cupboard when they went to make their Sunday morning breakfast selection.

Any ideas of breakfast were soon forgotten and the hunt began – the Easter Bunny had hidden the eggs in all manner of places including under the stairs, in the lounge and even in the downstairs toilet.

The eggs have all been piled up on top of the fridge and they cover the entire top of the fridge and reach up to the ceiling – it will probably take the 3pk until Christmas to eat them all!!!

Thank You to everyone who sent eggs with the Easter Bunny.

Monkeys Go To Chester Zoo

At 10am this morning we made our way over to Chester Zoo for the day to have a look at some animals with our animals.

The first entertaining moment happened at the entrance gate when PKP were endeavouring to get pk2 in for free, pretending that she was under 3, given that she is smaller than the legitamate under 3 year old, we didn’t think this would be too risky until she started singing The Kaiser Chiefs I Predict A Riot. We got away with it though as PKM made a dash for the other side of the gates!

Then it was off to see the animals – PK1 wanted to see the Bats, PK2 wanted to see the Giraffes and PK3 was enjoying plane spotting.

We spent a couple hours walking round looking at the animals before making our way to the cafe for some lunch, then it was off to see some more animals.

After a couple of hours we headed to the gift shop for the selecting of momentoes from the day – the pks selcted the following momentoes:
PK2 – Cuddly Monkey
PK1 & PK3 – Jet Plane one black, one red
PKD – Cuddly Giraffe
PKM – the pleasure of memories i.e. she got nothing to remind her of the day.

PKP were tempted to throw the 3pk in with the chimps and see how long it was before they were returned to us in Warrington.

He is banking on getting a £1 from the Tooth Fairy tonight – check back soon to see if his wish came true!!

The fairy delivered and PK1 woke up and found £1 under his pillow – he is now trying to extract some more teeth!!!

PK1 Party

PK 2 & PK3 attended their big brother’s birthday party this afternoon – the first one that they have both attended.

PK1 had his party at the Wicky Warehouse (Wacky Warehouse to the rest of us), he was joined by his younger siblings and 7 of his friends from school.

They all had a great time playing in the warehouse, sliding down slides and jumping in the ball pools.

Not to be left out PKD also joined in under the premis of assisting pk2 and pk3 in climbing up the ladders and sliding down the slides – although I have to say when I saw him he was diving, army commando style without a pk in site!!!

After the playing the kids ate some food including the Star Wars birthday cake featuring pk1 as Darth Vadar (Thanks to PKD and his amazing computer talents!!). Once the food was demolished the 3pk and friends went back to play in the gym – as did PKD!!!

I have to admit I did have a go on the slide and in the ball pool and it was great !! And the pkp managed to survive the party without a headache although PKD has injured his wrist!!!!!!!

Happy 7th Birthday – Darth

The eldest pk reached the grand old age of 7 today – what a big boy he is!!

PK1 was at his Dad’s this morning, which PKP are relieved about as he was awake at 6am!! His Dad & PK2 had bought him a bike for his birthday, which he knew he was getting thanks to PK2 opening her mouth last weekend.

PK1 then had to endure a day at school and at the end of his school day PKM was waiting for him at the gates – a rare event but only fair given that today is such an auspicious occassion.

We then made our way home for PK1’s second round of birthday presents – once again he was spoilt by family and friends.

Unfortunately for him he had to wait for PKD to return from work until he could open the PKP present and the present from Auntie Beverly & Uncle Simon – but boy was it worth the wait – PK1 broke all records in opening Light Sabars and Darth Vadar Costumes and getting them on.

PK1 returned to his Dad’s dressed as Darth Vadar. He did however take the costume off to blow the candles out on his castle birthday cake (thank you Grandma) and to show PKM how he could ride his new bike.

Once again thanks to family & friends for the presents.

Daniel’s First Try!!!

After a long 6 month wait Dan finally scored his first try in a rugby match and Mum was there to see it!!

WRUFC played Sandbach at home. Dan made a good start to the match running around the field, rather than prancing, and he even managed to prevent a try by grabbing a tag just before the player from the opposing team crossed the try line!

The try came at the start of the second half – Dan was passed the ball from kick off at watch point he tore down the left wing and placed the ball over the try line next tot he corner flag – Mum was cheering him along all the way!!!

When he had finished the mtach, which WRFC won, he told me he was pleased with himself for scoring a try.

Well done Dan!!!

It’s Snowing!

The 3 pk woke up today to a good 4 inches of snow outside and couldn’t wait to get out and start throwing snowballs so by 8:30am they were all dressed in their warmest clothes and outside flinging lumps of snow around.

PK’s 1 and 2 assisted PKP in making a snowman whilst PK3 watched on. It wasn’t too long before the excitement got too much for him and he went off for a nap for an hour as he’s been singing B B Builder since 6 am. He’ll learn to stay asleep i’m sure!

Anyway the snowman building continued and it wasn’t long before the rest of the neighbours were helping out and we had a nice 5ft snowman on our front lawn.

Once the building had finished PK3 decided he wanted to come outside again so he came back out and had a snowball fight with the neighbours in the street for an hour or so. Before we knew it it was 11:30, doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun!

Time for lunch and a rest before going to Jess’s birthday party in the evening with all of the 3pk. It was a fun evening with lots of balloons, a chocolate fountain, a garage full of giggling girls and light sabre wielding boys! A great time was had by all although i’m not sure if Uncle Keith survived or not as he was being attacked by PK 3 throughout the evening with a ball!!

Home at 9pm with the 3PK all crashed out in the car…

Valentine’s Day – Part 2

pk1 received a valentine’s card from a mystery admirer – actually it was Megan from school.

Unfortuantely he wasn’t too impressed and declared that Megan was no longer his girlfriend as he wanted Vicky to be his girlfriend instead. Apparently he was being coaxed into kissing Vicky at the school disco by Vicky’s sister.

If he is like this now goodness only knows what he will be like in 10 years – I have visions of having to tell numerous girls “he isn’t in at the moment” whilst he is standing by the side of me.
