A Christmas Visit
Yesterday afternoon, just before 2.30pm, Uncle Michael and Auntie Alison arrived – the time was important as at 2.30pm the Sale Sharks v Leicester Tigers rugby match was being shown on sky!
Uncle Michael installed himself on the sofa with the boxes of chocolates and he was soon joined by Daniel. We were all told by Uncle Michael that if we had any questions concerning the match we were to wait until half time to ask him and not disturb his viewing.
When the second half began Mummy (Alli) and Daddy (Tim) decided to take Emilie and Joshua to the park so that they could get some fresh air and a little bit of exercise. The park was great fun as the safe play surface had frozen and it was like being at the ice rink, it was even better because in the park there are hillocks to run up and down which we were soon all ski-ing down!
After a walk over to the duck pond, which was frozen as well, we went back home to see if Sale Sharks had won and therefore if Uncle Michael was in a good mood – they had won and he was!
Uncle Michael, Auntie Alison and Daniel then went out to the pub for a few quick drinks – Uncle Michael said that Daniel had had 5 pints whilst he was out but we think he was just trying to wind Daniel up.
We kept Uncle Michael and Auntie Alison entertained then with our predictions as to what Father Christmas would be bringing us and then it was time for bed.
On Christmas Eve morning we didn’t get chance to jump on Uncle Michael to wake him up as he woke up before us.
It was nice to see Uncle Michael and Auntie Alison again.
