Let the tackling commence

This evening Friday night rugby training started and Daniel is now at an age where he will start to play contact rugby.

Tonight the team had to tackle the tackle bags and each other and they all seemed to enjoy themselves, there were a few bumped heads and tears but nothing major.

Josh & Emilie had a great time running into the tackle bags to knock them down and Josh also enjoyed rolling the tackle bag down the hill, much to the dismay of Daddy (Tim) as he had to go and retrieve it and carry it back up the hill and they are quite heavy.

Daniel is very excited about the introduction of tackling and he enjoyed his first contact training session, even when he was at the bottom of a pile of 10 boys holding onto the rugby ball.

Lets hope the enthusiasm continues after the first injury which we are sure will occur at some point.
