The Night Before

We agreed that we would tell the children the night before the big day as we thought they might start suspecting something was afoot when Gez, Lorna, Beverly and Simon arrived at our house on the Friday evening.

We sat them all down in the lounge and the conversation went as follows:

I donâ??t want to be a bridesmaid at your wedding!!

Mummy
Would you like to see the dress we have bought for the bridesmaid to wear at the wedding?

Emilie
Yes (and upon seeing it) I want to be your bridesmaid now!

Once the excitement had died down and Daniel had congratulated us and told us how happy he was that we were getting married we made preparations for our final evening as girlfriend and boyfriend!

The night before the big day the boys all stayed in the house and the girls went to stay in the hotel where the wedding reception was being held â?? we wanted to do something traditionally! That evening Tim and I partook of some alcoholic beverages in separate establishments but we made sure we went to bed at a reasonable hour ready for our big day!!
