Trick or Treat (Mum gets wet again!)
PK1 (Dan) has wanted to go Trick or Treating for a couple of years now, so tonight I finally took the plunge and took him out to do a spot of trick or treating.
He dressed up as a skeleton pirate with bat wings, courtesy of Asda and Auntie Beverly. We set off in a fine drizzle but this was not going to dampen the spirits of PK1 he was adamant he was going to have a good time. We spent 30 minutes knocking on the doors of our neighbours and greeting them with â??Trick or Treatâ? to which the response was usually to be offered a plate/bowl full of goodies to select a â??Treatâ? from.
PK1 had a cauldron to collect his â??Treatsâ? in, again courtesy of Auntie Beverly â?? she had a spare one! The cauldron had to be emptied into my pockets on a couple of occasions as PK1 received so many treats.
We made our way home to be greeted by Tim and Pk2 who had spent the majority of the time that PK1 and I were out answering the door to numerous witches, wizards and skeletons, so I guess both of us drew the short straw this time.
Dan will be eating his treats for weeks unless of course Tim runs out of chocolates in his chocolate draw!!
